Bathymetric Survey Data

Understanding the depths throughout the port’s waterways is critical for the day-to-day running of the port. For that reason, the Dredging & Survey team of Port of Antwerp-Bruges continually carries out hydrographic surveys of the port area. The survey data is transformed into data sets, that form the basis for the development of navigation charts such as iENC.

What is Bathymetric Survey Data?

The bathymetric survey data API returns the most recent survey data, which can be integrated into applications. Note that the final interpretation of the data and the determination whether safe navigation is possible are the responsibility of the Port Authority.
