Accessibility Statement

Date last updated: 11 February 2026

Port of Antwerp-Bruges works to provide a website that is accessible to all, so everyone can readily access and use the information. This complies with the requirements of the  Decree of 7 December 2018 , which transposed European Directive 2016/2102 of 26 October 2016 concerning the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public authorities.

This accessibility statement outlines the extent to which this website complies with the predefined guidelines. Meanwhile, we continuously strive to improve the user experience and adhere to relevant accessibility standards.

This accessibility statement applies to: https://www.portofantwerpbruges.com/

Compliance status

This website partially complies with the WCAG 2.2 (AA) standard and the requirements of the European standard EN 301549 version 3.2.1 (2021), which includes, among other things, the criteria from levels A and AA of the WCAG 2.1 standard.

UXMen assessed the website in a detailed audit against the 56 success criteria of WCAG 2.2 Level AA, using both automated and manual analysis. In doing so, they will evaluate each aspect of the website using WCAG’s four guiding principles: perceivable, operable, understandable and robust. Specifically, this includes sufficient colour contrast and alt text for images (perceivable), keyboard and other tool navigation and operation (operable), clear content structure and consistent navigation elements (understandable), and compatibility with various assistive technologies such as screen readers (robust).

The website was last tested by UXMen on 3 July, 2025. Currently, the website does not meet 23 of the 56 applicable success criteria.
