The Port Authority, along with NxtPort, offers several products to help you work more efficiently. The use of some applications, such as APICS or Zedis, is mandatory. These can help you easily put all the legally required notifications in order. For example, you can also use them to request various services or to retrieve data online. This makes it possible to optimally coordinate all processes at the port.
Shipping agents and freight forwarders, pilotage and towage companies, waterway police and customs, port dues staff and other logistical players in the supply chain can access APICS or ZEDIS for free.
APICS
APICS is the Port Community System for the Antwerp site. Easily order maritime and port services with a few clicks, both on your computer and on your smartphone. Its use is mandatory.
Through APICS, you can apply for:
- Pilotage
- Mooring services
- Towage services
- Berths
- Fences in locks
- Waste declaration
- Hazardous goods
- Inland navigation services
ZEDIS
ZEDIS is het Port Community System van de locatie Zeebrugge. Daar kan je alles rondom scheepsaanlopen, afvalmeldingen en gevaarlijke goederen kunt regelen. De werkwijze is afgestemd op het type schip, zodat je altijd precies weet wat er moet gebeuren. Het gebruik van Zedis is verplicht.
Via Zedis kan je een aanvraag doen voor:
- aanmaken van verblijfsnummers
- sleepdiensten
- ligplaatsen
- ingaven van lading
- aangeven van afval
- gevaarlijke goederen
Barge Traffic System (BTS)
Barge Traffic System (BTS) makes the handling of container barges in the port completely transparent. Barge operators can easily submit their deadline requests to terminals. This ensures optimum planning and reduced waiting times.

Certified Pick up (Cpu)
Certified Pick up is a digital platform for container release at Port of Antwerp-Bruges. With Certified Pick up, you can rely on container transport that is safe, transparent and efficient.
e-Desk
As a shipper, forwarder or customs agent, reporting whether a customs declaration has already been made for outgoing cargo is easy using the services of e-Desk. The notification is delivered to the port terminal and shipping agent so that they, in turn, can carry out their mandatory declarations to customs. Your cargo will then be loaded onto the seagoing vessel without any problems. No more complex paperwork – this user-friendly tool makes the entire process digital.
E2E Rail Trans Port Manager (RTP)
With the E2E Rail Trans Port Manager, you can see where your rail cargo is in real time. Checking its status is easy using the clearly presented lists in the digital app and any deviations or problems that may arise en route can be identified more quickly.
Inbound Release Platform (IRP)
Inbound Release Platform digitalises the declaration and verification process for your incoming goods in the port. The platform can provide you with flows of information that are both transparent and reliable, which makes communicating with other actors in the supply chain and Belgian customs easier.
Open Data / Data sharing
Thanks to the many activities in Port of Antwerp-Bruges, the port has thousands of useful incoming data streams. By measuring, mapping and sharing those data, you can optimise your operations. But that is not all. You can also easily access the information via various applications, such as the ETA Terminal Tool, PortVoyages, Bathymetry, Bridges & Locks, Terminal API, Meteo or Pushed Barge Trackers.
Port Dues Portal
Manage your activities within Port Dues with this web application. The Port Dues Portal provides more efficient billing for marine and inland waterway dues and various services. Developed for shipping agents, bargemasters, waste reception facilities and drinking water suppliers.
Routescanner
Looking for the right maritime connection for your container? Using Routescanner, finding direct routes for containers, trailers and intermodal units from or to Port of Antwerp-Bruges is quick and easy.
TOOL
Through the Authorisations and Permits Dashboard, port users can easily apply for all necessary authorisations and route permits. Depending on your user rights, you will gain access to three specific tools: nautical authorisations, route permits and TOOL (for work permits).
