How does it work?
Register as a shipping agent or shipping company on APICS. There you can easily enter all the necessary information: port of arrival, ship name, shipping company, previous and next port. You then specify exactly what additional services the ship needs to arrive safely at berth, such as sea, river and dock pilots, tugs on the Scheldt and in the docks, boatmen or fenders. You can do this quickly and efficiently through a BERMAN message.
Firms that cannot yet send all data or mandatory declarations electronically can avail themselves of the support of Port+.
