During the closing times for shipping, land and rail traffic have as much free passage as possible on working days. In the event of road works, these closing times may temporarily change.
You can find the closing times of the Mexico Bridge on the Stadshaven website. They no longer operate at a fixed time but on demand via notification on VHF channel 69. The following cut-off times on weekdays are applied for the Mexico bridges, for the smooth flow of land traffic.
- from 06h30 to 09h00
- from 15h45 to 18h00
* In the event of heavy road traffic, the bridge can be lowered intermediately after the shipping traffic has passed under the bridge channel in one direction. The shipping traffic in the other direction then has to momentarily wait until the bridge is reopened.
