The inland navigation lock towards Bruges will not be operational until Wednesday 6 am.
Upstream and downstream movements in the port of Antwerp are proceeding with disruption. Pilotage and vessel guidance are fully operational. The Kallo lock is out of service following an action, and the Berendrecht lock is not operational due to planned maintenance. Other locks remain operational. The towing service within the docks is deployable with an availability of 70%. All barge traffic is possible.
Limited disruption is expected in Zeebrugge. Shipping guidance will operate with reduced services, with no impact on shipping. The barge lock towards the ring canal in Bruges will be blocked from 6am tomorrow morning until 21 May at 6am.
Because of industrial action, there could potentially be an impact on shipping traffic at the port of Antwerp-Bruges. We will have more insight into this impact in the coming hours.
