What is an FD number and how do you apply for it?
An FD number (Financial Service Number) is a unique identification number that is only used in the port of Antwerp. It is created when registering a new vessel and is required to report your vessel via VHF or in Apics Barge.
You can request an FD number by completing the form. Your application is then forwarded to the Portdues Inland Shipping department, which processes it further. Once everything is in order, you will receive the FD number via email.
