What is an FD number and how do you apply for it?

An FD number (Financial Service Number) is a unique identification number that is only used in the port of Antwerp. It is created when registering a new vessel and is required to report your vessel via VHF or in Apics Barge.

You can apply for an FD number by completing the form and emailing it, along with the vessel's tonnage certificate, to portdues.inlandshipping@portofantwerpbruges.com. Once everything has been processed, you will receive the FD number by email.
