Hong Kong-based regional carrier TS Lines continues its expansion into East West trades by teaming up with China United Lines (CU Lines) between China and North Europe.
TS Lines is now a vessel provider and 'consortium partner' in the China – North Europe 'Asia Europe Express' service (AEX) operated by CU Lines. TS Lines will market the service under the same 'AEX' brand.
The 'AEX' loop was launched in June 2021 as a fortnightly China – North Europe connection. CU Lines would need a fleet of ten vessels to upgrade this 'AEX' to a weekly service. The joining of TS Lines with a sixth vessel can be considered to be part of this ambition to further upgrade this loop.
TS Lines has appointed TSL Belgium as its shipping agent in Antwerp.
