Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 09/12/2025

1. Scope

These terms and conditions apply to all ticket sales via our event website event.portofantwerpbruges.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”) of the Port of Antwerp-Bruges (also hereinafter: Port of Antwerp-Bruges).

You confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions.

Port of Antwerp-Bruges reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time, with the changes taking effect as soon as they are published on the Website. Port of Antwerp-Bruges reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to suspend or modify the Website in whole or in part.

2. Events

Port of Antwerp-Bruges organises its own events. We also collaborate with external organisations. In the latter case, the responsibility for changes to the date, location, programme, or cancellation lies with the external organiser, and Port of Antwerp-Bruges cannot be held liable for this.

3. Purchase of Online Tickets.

3.1. An Online Ticket is understood to mean: the document ordered and paid for by the Buyer via the Website, which is printed or displayed on the smartphone by the Buyer. A valid Online Ticket serves as proof of payment and is also intended as an admission ticket.

An order is deemed final as soon as the Buyer has received the confirmation email containing one or more Online Tickets. The confirmation email will only be sent after receipt of the correct payment. If payment is not made within 1 hour, the reservation will be cancelled.

3.2. The person making the purchase electronically when visiting our Website (“Buyer”) is the only one liable for payment, even if the Online Tickets are intended for a third party.

The Buyer is also responsible for correctly providing the requested data to Port of Antwerp-Bruges. This applies to both the Buyer's details and those of all persons involved ("Third Party/Parties") for whom Online Tickets are purchased. When ordering Online Tickets, the Buyer must provide, prior to payment, the email address to which the Online Tickets will be sent after payment by Port of Antwerp-Bruges (from the email address [email protected]). The Buyer is responsible for providing a correct email address. Port of Antwerp-Bruges cannot be held liable if the Buyer does not receive the Online Ticket due to providing an incorrect email address. Please be sure to check your spam folder.

3.3. All taxes and VAT shall be borne by the Buyer.

3.4. Online Tickets must be paid for immediately upon ordering via the payment platform provided on the Website. Payment can be made using Bancontact, Maestro, iDeal, MasterCard, and VISA. The amount due will be immediately charged to the customer's account or credit card.

The relevant payment platform is directly managed by Worldline, and Port of Antwerp-Bruges assumes no responsibility for its use or performance.

4. Cancellation or rescheduling

4.1. If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, Port of Antwerp-Bruges will notify the Purchaser by email. In this communication, we offer the following options:

  • to retain the ticket (in case of rescheduling) or
  • to have the ticket refunded. Refunds will be made using the same payment method that was used for the purchase. Refunds will be issued to the Buyer within 10 business days via the same payment method.

4.2. If you do not receive an email, please contact us at [email protected]

4.3. Cancellation or refund at the Buyer’s request, except as provided in Article 4.1, is not permitted. No-shows, for any reason, do not entitle the Buyer to a refund or compensation.

5. Use of tickets

5.1. By possessing a ticket, the Purchaser and the holder of the ticket (Third Party/Parties) agree to these general terms and conditions.

5.2. The Online Tickets are only valid for the event and only on the date and time stated on the Online Ticket.  The Online Tickets cannot be changed or transferred to another date or event by us.

5.3. In accordance with the Act of 30 July 2013 concerning the sale of tickets for events, the following are strictly prohibited: - the regular resale of tickets, - the organisation or presentation with the intent of regular resale, - occasional resale at a price higher than the stated admission price, - resale before the start of the original sale, - the sale of privileged or promotional tickets for which no original sale has taken place. The registered Buyer, the person transferring the ticket, and the ticket holder are jointly and indivisibly responsible for any damage resulting from a violation of this law concerning the ticket.

5.4. Loss or technical problems with Online Tickets must be reported at [email protected] no later than the day before the event.

5.5. Port of Antwerp-Bruges or the external organisation may carry out identity checks on the ticket holder.
