Steenlandlaan will undergo a much-needed thorough renovation in 2026. This had been planned for some time, but was postponed because Steenlandlaan had to serve as a diversion route for the works on the Beveren Tunnel.

Steenlandlaan will be renovated in 2026. More information about the schedule and diversions during the work will be available here soon.
The entire road from the Kallosluis to the roundabout with Hazopweg will be renewed. This roundabout and the roundabout with Kruipin and the Waaslandhaven-Zuid complex, are not included in the project.
After extensive consultation with, among others, the companies on Steenlandlaan, the municipality and the emergency services, the works have been divided into four phases. This will ensure that all companies remain accessible.
The works will be carried out in the spring of 2026 so that they do not coincide with other major road works in the area.
