What effect will the merger have on the tariff structure for harbour dues at both ports?

Port dues (tonnage dues and berthing dues) are composed of several criteria and are set in the tariff regulations. As part of the merger between the two port platforms, we launched an exercise to simplify the process and leverage the complementarity of the platforms. In this exercise, we are looking at market conformity, effectiveness and structure of pricing and aiming for a new, aggregated tariff structure.

For the time being, the two systems will continue to exist separately from each other, and the prices and ways of working will not change.Today, a call at Zeebrugge and at Antwerp is not recorded as a second call. They remain two platforms.For now, a line remains linked to a specific platform.
